Established as a non-profit nursing home, the Good Shepherd Home is a skilled, primary care nursing facility, hosting 57 spacious private rooms and 9 double rooms. Our spacious private room rates are very reasonable, one of the lowest in the area.
Our Primary Nursing Care program is a consistent assignment of care approach to Nursing Care that provides permanent staff assignments to assure trust and positive relationships between residents, families, and caregivers. This Primary Nursing Care approach allows increased knowledge of each residents needs in their care group, better care plan utilization, and an ensured continuity of care.
Local children are regular visitors to their adopted Grandparents at Good Shepherd.
An on site Child Daycare department promotes intergenerational interaction and enhances daily activities for residents at the Nursing Home.
In house physical, speech, and occupational therapy services are available for residents.
Residents enjoy birthday and Holiday activities arranged by Good Shepherds wonderful Activities Department staff.
Transportation is provided for all residents who can travel throughout the business community for business trips, shopping and sightseeing.
Weekly church services are conducted by area ministers at the Good Shepherd Campus Chapel to meet residents and families spiritual needs.
